Hi David and Laura
I just want to say many thanks for organising such a great event, Darren and I had a fantastic time! it was great to meet the both of you and we really enjoy the oriental buffet also, it was a great way of meeting a few people.
I was very chuffed at winning a price in the raffle, I was hoping to get the stereo refurb as I had bought a stereo in earlier that day but I was very happy with getting the maintenance book!
I hope we raised lots of money for the Macgregor Ward Trust Fund and we look forward future Fig meets.
Thanks again Chris

Dear David

Cheers and thanks again for last Sunday Sue

David/Laura

Thanks very much for organizing such a great Figaro day. We really had a fantastic weekend. Also an excellent idea, for getting to know other Figaro owners. I can imagine that there was a lot to organize and that not everything worked out the way you planned it.

For us as just participants it was great and for me and my Sons we had a very good weekend.

Kind regards Paul /Sam/Fred Figarocity

Hello David & Laura,

thanks again for organizing such a great Figaro day. We really had a fantastic weekend.  The meeting with diner the evening before was also an excellent idea, for getting to know other Figaro owners. Because of the diner we didn't feel lost in the crowd on Sunday.
I hope it was for you two also an fine day. I can imagine that there was a lot to organize and that not everything worked out the way you planned it.
For us as just participants it was great and for me and my wife we had a very good weekend.

Kind regards Met vriendelijke groet, Jan & Carolien Oldenkamp (jonnietwo)

Hi David & Laura

Just dropping you a line about Fig 10 - what a fabulous day I had, it was so much fun to see all the other cars & chat to so many people & the icing on the cake of course was to win the new roof. So my Lapis Grey Fig is now looking lovely with a sparkling new roof. So many thanks to Jason for donating such a fab prize & again to you guys for all the hard work & effort that you put into before, during & after the event.

See you maybe next year ? Sue Targett - Crawley - West Sussex - Lapis Grey

Hi Dave

Well done on a fantastic show - we had a really good day.  It seemed a lot more friendly this time - maybe because we had met up with a few people on the Saturday and knew some faces.  The activities were fun and lovely touches like the cup cakes.  You must be delighted with the day - roll on the next one!

Best wishes to Eve and Laura as well Regards Julia

David

Many thanks to you and your family for organising Fig10, excellent venue and nice company, pity we didn't meet.

The 'follow the people in you area' was an excellent idea and Ruth and I met two more Figaro owners from close by and will be contacting them in future.

Anyway, thanks again and see you next year, somewhere!

Regards

Martin Ripley S Cargo, Figaro and looking for a PAO, not to mention my 57 2CV!

Dear David

Hi David

I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for organising such a wonderful event on Sunday.  I have only owned my figaro for 9 months and this is the first event I have been to.  It was great to see so many cars and gave me an opportunity to have a look at the 'competition'.  I was very proud of my figaro, very much a work in progress, most of it my own handiwork (with help and advice of experts) - she really did shine.  All your hardwork (and that of the other organisers involved) really paid off - well done.

I attach some of the photo's taken on the day (amateur I know).  It was nice to meet so many other Figaro lovers - we really are a passionate lot!!.

Thanks again

Sharon, Ricky & Edward (Age 8) Hennell (and of course Lola - my Lapis Grey Fig)

Dear David and Laura,

I was at Fig10 today with my family and my lovely pale aqua Figaro.  It was our first long trip out together!  We had a lovely day and really enjoyed seeing all the other Figaros, some of which were truly amazing.  The location was excellent and we enjoyed looking round the museum, too.  Unfortunately I had to leave early as the kids (and husband) were playing up, so I didn't find out who won the prize for best car.

I just wanted to thank you both for organising this wonderful event.  It has given me lots of ideas and inspiration.  I'm looking forward to Fig12!!

Regards, Sarah Taylor, Reading .

My daughter purchased a Figaro at the show which she will get on Friday, from a private sale

Thanks great day. Trevor

What a lovely day can't believe it's over. Well done to Laura and yourself big thank you.Have we got to wait another two years?
One thing we've all got is our passion for our little figaros. Some of our "family" have done some nice little touches on their cars, lots of ideas, not that our "lily" really needs improving she's beautiful as she is!!!!
Anyway thank you again. Looking forward to next time. Pam & Colin.

Hi there Fig08 team, just wanted to say thanks for a good day yesterday, it must be a lot of hard work for you,
congrats and I hope you had time to enjoy it too. There were some truly amazing sights to be seen, must polish ours more, of to Halfords now to get some Mcquire? Recommended by a fellow fig fan.
I've added some pics to your flicker site as suggested in your literature.
Thanks again for making it happen. Cheers, Carol Bull

Hi David,

I'm sure you're inundated with similar messages today, but I just wanted to express my thanks and congratulations to you for organising such an excellent event yesterday. It surpassed my expectations, and you even arranged to keep the predicted rain away.

We believe four Paos together is a UK record. I suspect two Viewts is as well.

I phoned Gareth Northall from the event, but got cut off, and he didn't reply to my text. His absence was the only disappointment.

Thanks again, Andy

Hi David

thanks to you and Laura - and family ! for a great day yesterday.

Well done ! Jeanne - from Stroud

Dear David

I have just has a very excited customer of mine on the telephone, their daughter won 2 nd prize at your Fig gathering this weekend !! I also hear that the

Figgy with the orange wrap won 1 st prize. We are delighted at this end because both of the cars were restored, sprayed and the orange one wrapped here at our Bristol garage. We are sorry that we could not be there this year and participate in the all the fun that you clearly had !!!.  Regards Dave Bishop ( Figaro Restore)

Dear David,
First of all, thank you for organising Fig10 - I attended on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the day - it was great to see so many figs in one place.
The reason I am emailing you is to request Julia Figgy Puddings email address. Thanks in advance Jo Wiseman

Hi David

Just a quick note to say well done for a great day on Sunday. The whole family enjoyed it immensely. You also worked wonders on the weather making it stop raining before we got there and only starting up again on the way home.

Look forward to the next one.All the best Owen Jesseman
